The pretty good life of a golden retriever

Hi. I'm Lucy. I'm a golden retriever. I think that's kind of obvious.

I came here when I was just a little baby.

Maggie already lived here. She ignored me for days. And then, one day, she saw me.

"Hey guys. Where'd this thing come from?"

Even though Maggie was real old, she loved to play, even when I was a little butt.

Best of all. she showed me where the free food was kept.

She learned that a long time ago when she was a puppy.

We became best buds.

Sometimes I miss my old buddy.

But I've got a new buddy now, Yenz. He's cool. He was full grown when he came here, and he'd been in prison.

We play.

And, we go for hikes in the mountains/

And, I have two cousins that come to my house a lot. This is Jax.

And this is Wally.

Michelle came into our lives too. She's Jax and Wally's mom. She likes to play too.

I think my life's pretty good.
