A DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) is required to acknowledge that a commercial motor vehicle (including a school bus) has been inspected each day before it is taken on the road. The reports are then required to be reviewed and kept on file.
I was charged with reviewing the reports for accuracy before filing. What follows are some of the odd repair requests that I came across from drivers who apparently were struggling to find the right description.
